LED lighting: Short for light-emitting diode. An electronic semiconductor device that emits light when an electric current passes through it. They are considerably more efficient than incandescent bulbs, and rarely burn out. LEDs are used in many applications such as flat-screen video displays, and increasingly as general sources of light. They come typically in Low voltage 12 volts to 24 volts. LED lights help accent any room with warm colors in any home. In today's modern / contemporary houses, LED lighting has been seen to be more predominant as the need to conserve energy.
